Free site name or a ฿49 / ฿99 shorter address: which to choose

Name your BrewInTH site once for free, or buy a shorter address for a one-time ฿49 / ฿99. The differences, how to set it, the name rules and renaming later.
The moment you create a project on BrewInTH, the site gets an address such as brew-k7m2p.host.brewinth.net. It works, but nobody will remember it, and it does not look great on a quote you send to a client.
The good news: you can name your site yourself, for free. And if you want an even shorter address, there are two one-time upgrades at ฿49 and ฿99. This guide explains the three options, which one to pick, and the rules worth knowing before you confirm a name.
In short
✅ Every site can be given its own name for free, such asmy-shop.host.brewinth.net— once
✅ ฿49, one-time: the same name on a shorter address,my-shop.w.brewinth.net
✅ ฿99, one-time: the same name on the shortest address,my-shop.brewinth.net
✅ Yours for good; every older address keeps working and forwards visitors to the new one
✅ A domain of your own, such asmyshop.com, is a different thing and needs a plan with custom domains
What kinds of address does BrewInTH give you?
Every site on BrewInTH has one name, and that name can live on three tiers of address. The higher the tier, the shorter the address.

- Automatic name (free). Every project starts as
brew-plus five random characters, for examplebrew-k7m2p.host.brewinth.net. - Your own name (free). Swap it for something memorable:
bakery-nok.host.brewinth.net. - Shorter address, ฿49. The same name without the word "host":
bakery-nok.w.brewinth.net. - Shortest address, ฿99. The same name straight on
brewinth.net:bakery-nok.brewinth.net.
Both ฿49 and ฿99 are one-time payments, not subscriptions, and you do not need a paid plan to buy them.
Every tier gets HTTPS automatically. There is no certificate to set up.
How to name your site for free
You can do it at two moments.
While creating the project. The create dialog has a Site address section; type the name in Site name (optional). Leave it empty and you get a brew-xxxxx name instead.
After the project exists:

- Open the project. While it still has a brew-… name, the project header shows Name your site (free). You can also go to the Domains tab, section Your brewInTH address.
- Type the name in Desired name, for example
bakery-nok. - Click outside the box. The console checks it at once; a usable name shows ✓, the full address and is available.
- Press Use this name (free, once) and confirm.
The new address needs about 5-10 minutes for DNS and its HTTPS certificate; meanwhile the page tells you the wizard is conjuring it. The brew-… address keeps working the whole time, and once the new one is ready the old one forwards visitors to it.
The naming rules
- Only
a-z,0-9and-, 3-15 characters long. - Start and end with a letter or a digit, and no
--. - Names form one register across the whole platform: if someone already has it, you will see That name is taken.
- System words, brands, banks and government agencies are reserved so nobody can build a convincing fake. A name containing
kbank,paypalorlogin, for instance, is refused.
You only get one free name — choose with care
The free name is set once. After that it cannot be changed for free, and the console warns you before you confirm.
Why? Once a name is out there, people share the link and print it on QR codes. If names could be swapped back and forth, the links other people hold would break, and a released name could be picked up by someone who wants to impersonate you.
Tips for choosing:
- Short and easy to type. Say it to a friend over the phone; if they type it right the first time, it passes.
- Use your brand or shop name, not a placeholder like
test1ormyweb-new. - Avoid look-alike characters such as
land1, oroand0. - Go easy on hyphens.
bakery-nokreads better thanba-ke-ry-nok.
Can I change the name later?
Yes, though not for free: you buy the ฿49 or ฿99 tier with the new name.

In the Domains tab, under the list of tiers, there is a box Buy with another name (optional). Type the new name, wait until it shows as available, then press Buy on the tier you want. Once paid:
- the new name gets the tier you bought, plus the free
newname.host.brewinth.netaddress; - the old name does not disappear: it still opens and forwards visitors to the new address;
- every link and QR code you shared before keeps working.
฿49 or ฿99: which should you pick?
It depends on where people will see your address.
- Free is enough for experiments, school assignments, internal team tools, or links people only ever click.
- ฿49 when you want a link short enough for a business card or a tidy social post.
- ฿99 when the address gets read out or printed a lot — a shop sign, a live-selling stream, a portfolio.
name.brewinth.netis the shortest and easiest to remember. - Your own domain, such as
bakerynok.com, suits a serious business that also wants email at@bakerynok.com. That needs a plan with custom domains, currently from Starter at ฿99 a month, plus the yearly fee for the domain itself.
You can always buy a higher tier later. Lower-tier addresses keep working and forward to the highest tier you hold.
Buying while you create the project
The Site address section of the create dialog also offers the ฿49 and ฿99 tiers together with the name. When you press Create project, then pay for the address, the project is created with the free name first and you are taken to payment. If the payment does not go through, the project stays and you can buy the address again from its Domains tab.
Let your AI suggest names
Stuck for a name? Ask the AI you already use to brainstorm, then check availability in the console.
Suggest 10 website names for a home bakery called "Nok" that sells through LINE.
Rules: only a-z, 0-9 and hyphens, 3-15 characters, starting and ending with a letter.
Easy to say out loud, typed right the first time, no mix of l and 1 or o and 0.
Give a one-line reason for each, best first.
The name itself is set by you in the console. An AI holding a project token cannot name the site or buy an address on your behalf.

FAQ
Are ฿49 and ฿99 monthly fees?
No. Each is a one-time purchase that is yours for good.
I'm on the Free plan. Can I buy a shorter address?
Yes. Addresses are not tied to a plan. Connecting a domain of your own, such as a .com, does need a plan with custom domains.
I picked the wrong name. Can I fix it for free?
No; the free name is set once. For a different name, buy the ฿49 or ฿99 tier with the new name. The old name keeps forwarding visitors.
The name I want is taken. What now?
Add a word for the kind of business or the area, such as nok-bakery, noksweets or nok-bkk. Names form one register across the platform, so two sites can never share a name.
If I delete a project, is its name gone?
A deleted project's name is held back for a short while so another customer cannot grab it straight away. Your own account can reuse it for a new project immediately.
My older site used to be on .w.brewinth.com. Do I need to do anything?
No. The older addresses still open and forward visitors to the new address on brewinth.net.
Summary
Every site on BrewInTH can be named once, for free. Pick something short, easy to remember and true to your brand. If you want an even shorter link, a one-time ฿49 or ฿99 gets you there — and since every older address keeps forwarding, no link you have shared will ever break.
